“Slowdown” is featured in the short film “Feetsteps”

“The Ghost with the squeaky wheel” was recorded by Robin Laing on “the Water of Life” and the lyrics feature in Robin’s  “Water of Life” book of whisky poetry.

“The Grassmarket Butchers” was winner of the audience prize at Edinburgh Folk Club Songwriting Contest 2004 and was released by New Makars Trust on the CD “The Grassmarket Butchers – Tales of the Covenanters” in July 2005

“The wind she changed” was runner-up for the audience prize Edinburgh Folk Club Songwriting Contest 2004

“Coldest of the year” won second prize in the Edinburgh Folk Club Songwriting Contest 2005.

“Life goes on" released in May 2005.  It was Iain Anderson’s featured CD of the week on Radio Scotland

“I think he liked the ladies” won the Glasgow Festival of Songwriting Contest 2007.

“Have a Nice Life” double CD was produced for Clydesdale Folk Club by Tom in 2008 in memory of David Roberts

Tom was winner of the Glasgow Festival of Songwriting Burns Night Scottish Songwright 2009

“The Robin and the Hawk” was co-winner of Audience Prize at the Edinburgh Folk Club Songwriting Contest 2009

November 2009 “From a garden of songs”  released

May 2011 - Tom's song "Carrion Craw" won the Scottish Traditions and Culture songwriting competition for the commemoration of the Battle of Harlaw

June 2011  - Tom won the String Jam Club  Songwriter of the Year Judges' Prize

June 2012 - "Dig" wins first prize at the Edinburgh Folk Club's songwriting Competition. "The wind" wins second prize.
